[Our Company] [Q & A] [Contact Us] [Mission Statement]

Q: What if I don't want to get my bill electronically?
A: You don't have to. We simply want to eliminate the bill being sent to the physical address and provide storage for the data electronically. You can sign up for automatic billing with your provider and have a payment made without viewing a statement. Or you may elect to use to level pay to make the same payment over time with adjustments made to actual usage.

Q: Why did you choose to go nonprofit?
A: We talked about doing this site for years. Everyone loved the idea, but the stumbling block has always been the ability for consumers to input data to make the site valuable. By going nonprofit, we eliminate the need for competition and make it easy for government entities and utilities to adopt our standard and use our tools. As the founder, I ask for compensation as the president and CEO to be commensurate with the industry. And I ask for a retirement compensation to be equal to $1 per customer for the first 5 million customers and $.25 per customer thereafter. I am willing to step down after 5 million customers to allow someone else to run the organization. I pledge to return 10% of my income as tithe and at least another 10% of my retirement as an offering to eMiracleWorker.com.

Q: Do you support other nonprofits?
A: We plan to provide a small transaction fee for each transaction to support nonprofit workers. We intend to support workers directly through eMiracleWorker.com which is currently under development. We also are asking for each PUC to establish an environmental impact fee which can be pooled for national emergencies such as hurricanes, snow storms, floods, and droughts.

Q: How is your organization funded?
A: We ask each organization to accept a $1 discount per transaction for storing data electronically. Whether you are purchasing an appliance at Home Depot and your receipt and customer invoice are linked to your e911 address or the notes from the installer of your tile from Lowe's is directed to your home's web space, each $1 in savings will fund Hfacts.com. Half of the fee will go to Hfacts.com. The other half will go to the consumer and collected through an account at Hfacts.com. This way each consumer will accumulate an account on our web site. The consumer may elect to purchase goods electronically with these funds or donate these funds to a general account that we will use to fund nonprofit workers.

Q: Is there any intellectual property regarding your system?
A: The founder's property for this system predates the following IETF draft. Michael Macgowan Jr. will transfer all interest in the intellectual property to the organization forming the standard as well as the web site address. As founder of the intellectual property Micahael asks for reasonable compensation for work done and for a retirement package based on work done. See Q and A above.
